Yesterday, we had the privilege to participate in Mike and Lindsey's special day. We knew when we first met with Mike and Lindsey, that we would have a great time with them and be able to get some memorable photographs on their wedding day. It was plain to see the love between them and also we could see what genuinely nice people they both were. It was an honor to celebrate their marriage yesterday with them and their truly amazing family and friends. While we are on the subject of family, please take note of Lindsey's beautiful flowers by Schrader's Florist and Greenhouse. Lindsey's bouquet has pieces from her mother's wedding dress within the flowers and the stems are wrapped with a ruffle from the bottom of her mother's wedding dress. That's such a beautiful and thoughtful idea!! Mike and Lindsey's wedding day turned out to be such a beautiful fall day. The ceremony was held at the magnificent St. David's Luthern Church in Davidsville. Following the ceremony, we moved on to get some specialty photographs at Lindsey's uncle's beautiful home that had breath-taking views. We then went to the Quemahoning Dam and we were able to get some nice shots with the entire bridal party and finished up with some wonderful shots of the new Mr. and Mrs. Bumbarger. Finally it was time to party at The Masonic Temple along with Dustin from Top Dog Productions with some delicious food from Anthony's. Let's take a minute and learn a little more about Mike and Lindsey!!
Mike and Lindsey had known of each other for some time before their paths crossed, one rainy night at Shaffer's Frosty Freeze. From that night forward, Mike and Lindsey got to know each other more and became major parts of each other's lives. After almost two years, Mike knowing Christmas is one of Lindsey's favorite things, planned a night in Pittsburgh full all things festive, but little did she know it would end in a huge surprise, their engagement. Ten months later they would start forever together!
