A Portrait Photography Session with Sandy Miller
A few months back we had the pleasure of taking some portraits of Sandy Miller and her horses. When Sandy first contacted us, we were a little nervous because we had never done an entire photo shoot dedicated to just the subject and their horses. We really didn't think that it would be that difficult so we accepted the job and set out to Sandy's house to take some awesome portraits! I have to say that Sandy had some beautiful property, perfect for getting some really nice shots with some unique scenery in the background. When we first met Sandy, she immediately put us at ease. She was a very nice person and we could tell she was very excited to get started on her portraits. Sandy had two beautiful horses and a beautiful stable to match. As we were getting our equipment set up for our portraits, Sandy explained that there is one important piece of information that she wanted us to know. She said that it was imperative that the ears on the horses were up and pointing forward. I thought, that's not bad, should be pretty easy. Well it wasn't as easy as I thought. Not only did I have to keep my eye on Sandy and the horses, but also the horses ears. It was definitely a challenge, but we enjoyed every minute of it and I think Sandy and the horses did too! Thanks so much Sandy for choosing us to to be your portrait photographers. We really loved the way the pictures turned out and we hope you did too.
