An Amazing Fall Wedding with Maria & Dylan
Our wedding yesterday began with Maria and her ladies at the beautiful St. Mary Parish in Nanty Glo, PA. We were able to get some unique and beautiful pictures of Maria and her bridesmaids while they were getting ready for the ceremony. Then Dylan and his guys arrived and were anxious to get the wedding started. The ceremony was very touching with the perfect mixture of some tears and some laughs. If you know Maria and Dylan, you know what a fun couple they are. Their bridesmaids and groomsmen, were no different. They kept us entertained the entire day, and were just the type of group that we love to work with. Before we went on location to the Forest Lawn Cemetery, we stopped at The Grand Halle on Broad Street so that Maria and Dylan could get a look at their reception venue. The Grand Halle was absolutely breathtaking, and was exactly what the couple had envisioned. Chad and Steven, owners of The Grand Halle, along with their crew did such an amazing job in all aspects of the day in which they were involved. Cambria City Flowers, also owned by Steven and Chad, supplied all of the flowers for the day. They went above and beyond to make Maria's flowers unique and unlike any others that we have seen.
This is the second time that we have had the pleasure to work with Maria and Dylan. We were able to do their engagement portraits in May of 2013. Let's learn a little bit more from Maria and Dylan about themselves.
Dylan and I met when we were just in middle school we dated in the 7th grade for about 2 weeks then broke up and stayed single for a while. In the summer of our upcoming 9th grade school year we spent a lot of time together and finally on October 1, 2006 we made boyfriend and girlfriend official. This time I knew it was real. We spent just about every waking moment together during high school we both participated in sports and just enjoyed being together all the time. After graduation in 2010 Dylan got a degree in heaving equipment operation and I in nursing. We started our own little family off with a rental home and a dog. As time passed feelings grew stronger and we couldn't see ourselves with anyone else. On December 1, 2012 Dylan popped the question in Rockefeller center in New York City. After our engagement we decided to buy a house. Our fur family grew bigger and the love grew stronger. Dylan is now a pressure tester on drilling wells and I am a nurse and Windber hospital. We love our home, our dogs and most of all each other. So after 8 years of being together, we finally married on October 11, 2014 and our day was absolutely perfect. Here's to the start of forever!
Thanks so much Maria and Dylan for choosing us to be your engagement and wedding photographers. We really enjoy working with easy-going and fun couples such as yourselves. Good luck in everything that you do and enjoy the time that you spend together.
