A Fun-Filled South Fork Pa Engagement Session with Bethany & Zack
We had such a great time photographing Bethany and Zack during their engagement session. The afternoon was filled with lots of laughs, interesting smiles (Zack), and definitely love. It was a rather chilly afternoon, but that didn't stop our lovely couple from having a fun time. The engagement session was done at the Johnstown Flood National Memorial. It had special meaning to Bethany, the house on the property used to be owned by her grandfather and her father had lived in the house. There were many beautiful scenes at the memorial, we were happy that the chose this location. Bethany and Zack were really great to work with. They were naturals in front of the camera. We are very excited about their June 2015 wedding, we are going to be able to get some magnificent photographs with them. Lets learn a little bit more about Bethany and Zack.
Zachary and Bethany first met due to both being in their friend’s wedding. The bride and groom actually informed both of them about the other one since their friends believed that they would be perfect for each other. The night of rehearsal, Bethany remember looking at Zack who was staring at her and she thought “wow, who is that?” Then, she realized that he must be the Zack that her friend keeps talking about. The next day at the wedding, Zack and Bethany made some small talk, danced every slow song, and seemed to be forming a connection. Zack says that he actually told a friend at the end of the night that she was the type of girl that you marry and asked for her number. Bethany and Zack both were a little timid at first since they didn’t think things would work out due to her living in Pennsylvania and him being stationed in Florida. However, frequent texting turned into hour phone calls which then lead to Zack stating that he would love to fly up to take me to dinner. The thought of him flying up for dinner seemed pretty crazy but they agree that it turned into the most amazing weekend. He believes that he knew right away that she was the one for him. That first weekend visit in August lead to many more visits. Any long weekend or holiday turned into an opportunity for them to see each other. After a little over a year of dating, Zack asked Bethany to make him the happiest man by marrying him. She was a little shocked but obviously she was excited to say YES! They are still planning weekend and holiday trips but most importantly they are planning the day that they will say I do which will be on June 6th 2015.
Thank you so much Bethany and Zack for choosing us to be your engagement photographers. You both were great to work with and we look forward to working with you again in June!
