A 1920's-1930's "Great Gatsby" Styled Wedding Shoot
The styled wedding shoot in Pittsburgh Pa was held at The Hyeholde Restaurant in the Coraopolis area. This was a very special and unique shoot for us because it was our very first "styled wedding shoot" ever! We were both a little nervous and excited at the same time, but when we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful view of The Hyeholde and all of it's surroundings. If you have never seen or visited this beautiful place, I highly recommend that you do. It was so nice meeting all of the vendors we would be involved with during the shoot. Everyone was very nice and easy to work with. If you are newly engaged or getting married in the Pittsburgh area, these are the people to contact as you will see in the photos by us, Glessner Photography. Everyone did a great job in their area of expertise and worked with incredible efficiency! My wife and I were amazed at how fast everyone came in, set up and still had time to socialize and get to know each other. Here is a list of everyone involved with links to their websites or places of contact. Please take your time and check them all out. You will definitely be pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the specialized work that they provide.

Thanks so much to the Hyeholde Restaurant for being involved with this shoot and letting us use their awesome facilities. This particular photo is of the Round Room where wedding receptions normally take place. This is definitely a place to consider when booking your wedding reception. Please visit their site to see what they have to offer.
A BIG thanks to David's Bridal for supplying such wonderful and elegant gowns that most definitely had the romantic and artistic look and feel that was present in the 1920's and 1930's. Both models looked absolutely beautiful in these classy gowns!
Hair and make up artists from Glamorous Bridal Productions did a fantastic job with these already beautiful "brides"! They were all so professional and got the job done in a quick and timely fashion. Oh, and did I forget to mention that they had a lot of fun doing it!
Jason, from Alittleguilty, was the live artist during the shoot. In just the few short hours we were there, he was able to create a beautiful, hand painted scene of the whole event. His paintings are very beautiful and really tell the story of a bride and groom's entire wedding day. Make sure to check out his website to see what he can do for your special day!
Megan from 3 Rivers Events, did an awesome job showcasing her champagne tower. We couldn't believe how fast she was able to set everything up! I guess in her line of work, efficiency is key. Beautiful job Megan and we hope to work with you in the future. Please visit her website to see all that her company can do for your wedding.
Chair covers were supplied by Simply Divine Event Decor & Chair Cover Designs. They actually were "simply divine" and really fit the style and theme of our shoot. Flowers were supplied by the very kind owners of All Occasion Silk Creations. They did an outstanding job with the flowers, and get this...THEY WERE SILK! I couldn't believe it when my wife told me that they were silk flowers because they felt so real! Please visit both of these wonderful businesses to see how they can take your wedding to the next level!
We weren't the only ones that were surprised by Bob's secret proposal plan he had cooked up with Catherine and Amanda, from Forever Yes. Paige was left in shock and was speechless!! Although, she did get out a little "Uh-huh" as a yes after Bob had gotten down on one knee and asked her to marry him. As you can see in the video to the right, they were both glowing and extremely happy after the proposal. Steady Creek Cinema get all the props for being there to capture this once in a lifetime special event on video! They made such a special personalized proposal film that Bob and Paige will be able to cherish their entire lives!
Coming into this shoot, Paige had told us that her and Bob were the back-up couple in case the first couple didn't show. Little did she know that this was going to be a day that she would never forget.
Miss Pittsburgh, Samantha Sham and Paige worked great together. Samantha has been modeling since she was 14 years old. With the beautiful 1920's-1930's hair and make up design, she really looks like she just stepped out of that era. She was a great choice to be involved in this styled shoot.
