An Elegant Johnstown, PA Wedding with Fun Reception at The Masonic Temple.

On Saturday, Matthew and Bethany said "I do"!! We had the absolute pleasure of taking their engagement photographs last August, and we learned then what a wonderful, fun couple they are. Photographing them Saturday was just as much fun!! Even though it was extremely hot, they were so cooperative and easy-going the entire day. Things got rather interesting with the exciting wedding party during the specialty shots that we took at Homestead Inn. There were definitely plenty of laughs to go around! After the specialty shots, we moved the party to The Masonic Temple where the amazing, DJ Jack Labarko, Inc. kept the party going. Let's learn a little bit more about this amazing couple.

Matthew and Bethany met while the two worked together at Long John Silvers during their high school/college years. The two worked together for years but the thought of dating never really came up. Sure, Bethany had a giant secret crush on Matt and the two were always flirting back and forth. It wasn't until another coworker stated "You two should just date already" that planted the idea into Matt's head. The two started talking outside work more and more and finally Matt asked Bethany if she would like to see some fireworks with him. So May 2012 Matt and Bethany shared their first "unofficial" date. The date was "unofficial" because Bethany didn't even know it was a date until Matthew planted a kiss on her at the end of the night! June 4th 2012 Matt made it official and asked Bethany to be his girlfriend. Matthew and Bethany were perfect for each other and it wasn't long before the two started to fall in love. Matt was the first to say those three words that mean so much. Bethany can still remember the night perfectly. The two continued their blossoming relationship for years. They moved into their first apartment together (and then later into their first home), adopted a few furbabies (three cats Lucy, Bella, and Dexter), and just enjoyed each others' company. And now we get to the good part! July 4th 2014 is the day Matthew popped the question. Matt's family being the pyrotechnic people they are were having an annual 4th of July party in which they would be lighting fireworks at the end of the night. Everything was just like a normal "Moore" party; good food, good people, and an all around good time. Bethany had no clue that one firework show would change her future forever. Matthew literally lit her name up in lights. A board with "MARRY ME BETHANY?" lit up in fireworks was the beginning surprise to the show. Of course Bethany cried (she always cries) and said YES! So June 17th 2017 will be the day that Matthew and Bethany start their new, exciting adventure together as husband and wife.
