A Beautiful Spring Wedding in Indiana, PA with a Fun-Filled Reception in Johnstown, PA.

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of photographing Tyson and Maria during their special day.  Tyson and Maria were a fun-loving couple and perfect for each other.  After the wonderful ceremony, we moved to the picturesque IUP campus to get a few specialty shots, then we headed to Ace's Banquets and Catering for an amazing reception.  Lets learn a little bit more about Tyson and Maria in their own words!

Tyson and Maria have been together for five years with trivia being an important part of their relationship. They met at Steel City Sammiches playing trivia after Maria's friend recruited a teammate to help with sports' coverage.  After a few months of trivia playing, Maria needed a date for a college friend's wedding,  and Tyson accepted the offer (after her friend was unable to because he had to be somewhere else). They had an enjoyable evening in which they got to talking and learning more about each other, which led to Tyson finally asking her out on a date (what he believes to be their real first date) two weeks later. From there they started to "hang out" on weekends, all the while still playing trivia. Finally after many trivia games and several years, Tyson proposed to Maria (exactly one year prior to the wedding) during the current incarnation of trivia back where it all began. She didn't see it coming when he cleverly worked with the trivia company to incorporate the proposal as the answers to one of the trivia rounds during an actual game. In addition to their weekly trivia game, they enjoy traveling, fishing, and playing board games.
