Saint Francis Engagement Session with AJ & Bri     By: Glessner Photography

Last weekend, we had such a fun time photographing AJ and Bri during their engagement portrait session.  They were such a great couple to work with.  We are so very pleased that they chose us to be their engagement and wedding photographers.  Let's get to know them a little better in their own words.

AJ and I grew up in the same home town of Lilly, PA.  My dad was actually his football coach when he played for the Lilly Raiders and I was a cheerleader.  It wasn't until high school that we "officially" met and began dating. But, it wasn't exactly easy.  AJ was shy and I most definitely was not. He was a junior and I was a senior and I'll never forget the day he walked into the gym for his basketball practice and I looked over at my friend and said "I'm going to Snowflake with him this year!"  That was difficult because it took him an entire six months to say hello to me in person, but that December he took me to my senior Snowflake.  That same night he asked me to be his girlfriend, and the rest was history! We both attended UPJ for our undergraduate degrees and I spent most of my free time watching him play basketball or playing basketball with him.  It was perfect that he decided to propose on the basketball quart in Lilly where we first started playing together.  To this day (and even on the day he proposed) he still never lets me win! It was a true case of love and basketball.
