Yesterday we were lucky enough to be part of Drew and Denise's wonderful wedding! Our day started with Denise and her ladies at VOMA. We were then able to sneak over to the always gorgeous, Grand Halle to get some reception detail shots and also meet Drew, his mom ,and Drew's groomsman as they finished getting ready. After we were done at the Grand Halle, we headed back over to VOMA to continue our shoot with the beautiful bride her parents, and Denise's bridesmaids. We were fortunate to be there when her dad arrived and saw her for the first time. I don't think that there was a dry eye in the building! Then it was on to the ceremony. We just want to tell you that Drew and Denise have some talented friends! One of Denise's bridesmaids, Jessie, sang a beautiful song at the beginning of the ceremony and then Matt, a groomsman, played the piano amazingly as the bridal party was walking down the aisle. There was a surprise during the ceremony as well. Denise also sang a beautiful song to Drew! After the ceremony, we were able to sneak over to a railroad bridge to get a couple of shots, then we headed back for the reception. Throughout the day and during the reception, we were able to work with some wonderful vendors. All of the employees from The Grand Halle were kind and helpful throughout the entire day. Flair of Country Catering & Event Planning, provided some delicious food. We also had the pleasure of working with Derek and Gavin from the incredible DJ Jack Labarko, Inc.With the above listed combo of vendors, the reception was exceptional!! Let's learn a little bit more about Drew and Denise in Drew's words.

In November 2016, my sister-in-law suggested I get to know her classmate, Denise, a medical student in Blacksburg, Virginia. At the time, I was working as an assistant district attorney in New Mexico, so Denise and I began talking online and over the phone. Fortunately, within a few months I moved to the Midwest, and later got to meet Denise in person in June 2017. I felt an instant connection and we made our relationship “official” after our first meeting.

From that point on, Denise and I would meet up whenever we could, and our love continued to grow. Finally, on February 11, 2018, while walking the quaint, quiet streets of downtown Abington, Virginia, I proposed. She said “yes,” we shed a few happy tears, and we thanked God for the blessing of bringing us together. We are now thrilled to be getting married in front of our family and friends at The Grand Halle!
