Ian and Alissa's Summer Wedding in Nanty Glo, PA By: Glessner Photography
Saturday was a perfect day for a summer wedding! We had such a great time with Ian and Alissa. We started our day stopping in and taking some shots of the beautifully upgraded Nanty Glo Fire Hall. The hall had just recently been updated, and it was perfect! We then met Alissa and her ladies at St. Mary's Catholic Church, which was right down the road. After we were able to get some shots with Alissa, we met Ian and his guys upstairs to get a couple pics of them getting ready for the ceremony. After a wonderful ceremony and some family photography, we the moved on to the amazing Gardens of Mount Assisi. It sure was a hot day, but the bridal party and the bride and groom were so easy and amazing to work with. Once we were finished at the Gardens, it was back to the fire hall for the fun-filled reception. Let's learn a little more about Ian and Alissa.

We met in fall of 2017. He was persistent and showed up in his police cruiser to ask me on a date, and finally I couldn’t say no! After 3 dates, I knew he was the one. In May 2019, he finally proposed and we set a date for the perfect summer wedding. June 26, 2021 was the best day of our lives. We couldn’t be happier to move onto our next chapter of our journey through this life together.
